SENATOR GARRETT TO HOLD BANKING FORUM

HIGHWOOD, Illinois—State Senator Susan Garrett (D - Lake Forest), in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Division of Banking, will sponsor a community banking forum to discuss “Things You Should Know About Banking.” The forum will be presented in English and Spanish on Thursday, May 4, 2006, at 7 p.m., at Oak Terrace School, 240 Prairie Avenue in Highwood.

Speakers will include representatives of the Ilinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Division of Banking, the Mexican Consulate in Chicago, Prairie State Legal Services, the Ilinois Department of Human Rights, Interfaith Housing of the Northern Suburbs, and Bank of Waukegan.
