Garrett to Host Glencoe Property Tax Discussion

HIGHWOOD, Illinois – State Senator Susan Garrett (D – Lake Forest) will be hosting a public meeting with the Cook County Tax Assessor’s Office regarding property taxes in Glencoe. The Assessor’s Office will provide information on the tax formula, as well as outlining the process for appealing property taxes.

“Several taxpayers in Glencoe have called my office, indicating that their property taxes have increased by double digits.  We determined that residents of Glencoe should have the opportunity to hear, first hand, from the Assessor’s Office as to why property taxes have increased so dramatically,” said Garrett.

The meeting is open to the public.
