Garrett Holds Hearing to Attract Business in Illinois

HIGHWOOD, IL— State Senator Susan Garrett (D – Lake Forest) will be holding an official Illinois State Senate Commerce Committee subject matter hearing, "Fostering more new business in Illinois: How can business, government and academia work together to improve our state's economy?"

"With the state is facing significant economic challenges, we must be proactive in our efforts to make Illinois attractive to entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes. I am eager to learn how we can maximize our opportunities for growth," Garrett said.
